About the Project:
BSF2 is a greenfield 8MW solar farm located adjacent to BSF1 in Batchelor, Northern Territory in Australia. The project design utilises solar photovoltaic (PV) technology and single-axis tracking technology to efficiently and cleanly export electricity onto the Darwin-Katherine electricity network operated by Power and Water Corporation, with 100% of the generation output sold through Rimfire Group’s retail operations.
Scope of Work:
- End-to-end project life cycle advisory and management (PPA contract)
- Design feasibility, financial and technical management for complete project electrical systems and solar PV implementation
- Advisory support on grid connection process, compliance, reliability run testing, and operational readiness
Achievement :
Delivered project construction and grid connection compliance commissioning on schedule—despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, border closures, and strict travel restrictions in Australia.
HUDSON CREEK POWER STATION 2
Project Details
About the Project:
HCPS2 is a greenfield 12-25MW gas-fired power generation facility located adjacent to HCPS1 in Wishart, Northern Territory, Australia.
The HCPS2 design utilises high efficiency gas-fired reciprocating engine technology to efficiently and reliably export electricity onto the Darwin-Katherine electricity network operated by Power and Water Corporation, with 100% of the generation output sold through Rimfire Group’s retail operations.
Scope of Work:
- End to End Project life Cycle Advisory and Management (PPA Contract).
- Design Feasibility, financial and technical management for the complete project gas and power system and implementation.
- Advisory support on grid connection process, compliance and reliability run testing and operational readiness.
Achievement :
Successfully resolved stakeholder disputes over connection agreements, power modelling, and compliance monitoring scope, restoring project alignment and saving the client months of delays—accelerating revenue generation from power exported to the grid.
Melbourne Metro Tunnel Project
Project Details
About the Project:
A new rail substation in South Yarra has been switched on to provide extra power for high-capacity trains travelling through the Melbourne Metro Tunnel.
The self-contained building will convert the local power supply into the required voltage to operate trains, signals and communications equipment. It will supply up to 20 million amps to the Metro Tunnel.
The new substation contains almost 37 kilometres of electrical cabling, including more than 18 kilometres of high-voltage cable, over 8 kilometres of low-voltage cable, and 10 kilometres of earthing and control cable
In addition to powering regular train operations, it will also be used as a backup electricity supply in emergencies.
Scope of Work:
- End to End Project life Cycle Advisory and Management (EPC Contract).
- Design review, consultation and technical coordination management for the complete substation electrical package.
- Advisory Stakeholder and communication management with involved parties and government bodies.
Achievement :

Suburban Rail Loop East (SRL East) Power Substation
Project Details
About the Project:
The Suburban Rail Loop power supply substation at Burwood connects to an existing utility substation in the area and converts that power to the voltage necessary to operate the new trains and underground stations.
The substation uses the same power that runs through existing utilities. As such, the electromagnetic emissions from the substation will not be greater than the levels for a typical utility substation.
Scope of Work:
- End to End Project life Cycle Advisory and Management (EPC Contract) which involves:
- Removing existing buildings.
- Installing conduits and cables from the substation site to the station construction site.
- Building above-ground components.
- Installing electrical equipment.
- Advisory Stakeholder and communication management with involved parties and government bodies.
Achievement :
Led the resolution of complex project disputes with minimal executive escalation, boosting client satisfaction from 33% to 73%.
Kiamal Solar Farm
Project Details
About the Project:
Located 3 km north of the Victorian town of Ouyen, the facility is equipped with 718,000 solar panels, making it the state’s largest solar project.
The farm generates 560 GWh annually – which is about the same as powering 133,500 homes with clean, renewable energy.
Scope of Work:
Third Party/external technical and Project Management consultancy services for the Solar PV Electrical Systems (AC/DC) Package.
Achievement :
Reduced grid connection approval timelines from 18 months to 10 months through effective technical advisory and proactive stakeholder engagement.
Ballart Battery Energy Storage Systems

About the Project:
The Ballarat Energy Storage System is located at the Ballarat Terminal Station in Warrenheip, Victoria. Spotless Sustainability Services lead the construction of the 30 MW/30 MWh battery.
The Ballarat Energy Storage System provides back-up power and grid stabilisation, vital to maintaining a reliable and affordable energy supply in Western Victoria.

Achievement :
Reduced contract variation volume by 25% through implementation of clearer scope definitions and early design freeze practices.
PDO (Yibal Khuff Project)

About the Project:
The Yibal Khuff project is an integrated development project of the Khuff and Sudair reservoirs for the production of ‘sour’ oil and gas. The project is one of the most technically complex projects in the Sultanate of Oman with an estimated cost of about US$2.7 billion. The project is expected to contribute to enhancement of the In-Country Value (ICV) with 25% of the procurement done within the Sultanate.

Complete Design, supply and project management for MV/LV Solutions and systems.
Achievement :
Created a mitigation escalation process that improved risk response time by 33% for critical project’s challenges.
Shah Gas Plant (SGP)

About the Project:
The Shah Gas Plant (SGP) is located about 180 km southwest of Abu Dhabi, in an area dominated by large sand dunes. The SGP receives and processes very sour gas— containing more than 23% vol. hydrogen sulphide and 10% vol. carbon dioxide — from the nearby Shah Arab Sour Field.

Al Wathba and Allahamah Sewage Treatment Plants ISTP2 (Abu Dhabi/Al Ain)

About the Project:
The ISTP2 project is a build, own operate and transfer (BOOT) project, which consists in the design, construction, financing and operation of two wastewater treatment plants in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
These plants, which were commissioned in January 2012, serve two main purposes:
- To treat the growing amount of wastewater produced in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain following the current demographic growth.
- To recycle treated water for irrigation of the green areas (farms, parks, green spaces, etc) of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The Al Wathba 2 Plant treats a significant part of the wastewater coming from the city of Abu Dhabi. This Plant has a treatment capacity of 300,000 m3 per day and is designed for a Population Equivalent of over 1,500,000 units.
The Allahamah Plant treats a significant part of wastewater coming from the city of Al Ain. This Plant has a treatment capacity of 130,000 m3 per day and is designed for a Population Equivalent of 650,000 units.
Scope of Work:
The Scope of supply was complete design, supply and project execution management for LV/MV/ MCC and Automation systems for both STP plants.
Achievement :
Implemented earned value management across both plant work packages, increasing forecasting accuracy and project financial reporting precision by 33.2%.
